Avoid the volatility of fuel oil prices this Winter by signing up for one of our Oil Price Protection Plans! We have expanded our plans for the 2010-11 season with one goal in mind: giving you options to control your heating costs. You can choose between the following options:
Pre-Buy Plan: Our Pre-Buy Plan allows you the certainty of pre-purchasing your annual supply of fuel oil at a fixed price.
Cap Plan: Our Cap Plan gives you the security of a price "ceiling" should oil prices rise, but allows your price to move lower if the market falls. The Cap Plan lets you budget your oil needs into twelve monthly payments.
Fixed Price Plan: Our Fixed Price Plan allows you to lock in your price of oil for the entire season. This rate is then built into a budget made up of twelve easy monthly payments.

In 1998 when I purchased my new home, I had to make a choice of whether or not to stay with Mitchell Oil. As a new user of ‘oil’ I was unsure. Friends told me that I could get a better oil price elsewhere. I questioned your salesman and asked, ‘Why should I stay with Mitchell when I can get a better oil price elsewhere?’ He said, ‘Its more than simply the price of oil. Yes, maybe you can get oil cheaper but what you also get from Mitchell for that few cents more is guaranteed service. Should the day come that you need help in the middle of the winter we will be there.’
February 6th those words were put to the test when my boiler died (rusted out) at 7 am on a 20 degree morning. By 11am (after inspection) Richard Devine had a price quote for me on a new boiler and ‘the promise’ that Mitchell would install it the same day. Servicemen representing your company worked for 6 hours in my cold cellar until 10pm that night. More than simply qualified – they were also nice. You would do well continuing to use them.
